The Yellow Dress

Tales-of-Haruki-Album

Busy streets on a Friday night,
Shibuya glows in neon light.
Then I spot you in the crowd
I turn into a pillar of salt
Your yellow dress makes my heart stop
I bring the beat back to the bop
Through the noise, I call your name,
But the crowd just moves the same

My love in a yellow dress
I recall every day we met
I hear the Taiko drums again
The heartbeat of our summer that never came to an end

I follow your trace closely
but I lose your face,
Pushing through the crossing
it’s an endless chase.
But it’s not your dress
just wishfulness
I’m left distressed
and way back in the past.

My love in a yellow dress
I recall every day we met
I hear the Taiko drums again
The heartbeat of our summer that never came to an end

My love in a yellow dress
I recall every day we met
I hear the Taiko drums again
The heartbeat of our summer that never came to an end

My love in a yellow dress
I recall every day we met
I hear the Taiko drums again
The heartbeat of our summer that never came to an end
