Scattered lights on the water,
Reflections stopped to glow,
Sumida swallowed my laughter
Since the day you let me go.
I walk the same old river walk
Where the water meets concrete,
But every step I take just takes
Me back where we used to meet.
I can still feel your hand when I walk along the river,
Hear your laughter echo in the waters of Sumida.
I walk, we talked, I stop, we kissed,
I sit down, you’re forever missed.

The breeze still tells the stories
The water used to know,
But now they’re only memories
That I just can’t let go.
Your shadow walks these streets with me,
I still feel your hand in mine.
Water slapping against the wall
Marks every moment frozen in time.
I can still feel your hand when I walk along the river,
Hear your laughter echo in the waters of Sumida.
I walk, we talked, I stop, we kissed,
I sit down, you’re forever missed.
